Susan Rosenberg, an American political activist, author and advocate for social justice, presented her new book "An American Radical" (Citadel Press) in San Diego at the San Diego City College on April 14, 2011. Rosenberg was active in many radical movements of the 1960s and 1970s. Originally sentenced to 58 years in prison on weapons and explosive charges, Rosenberg spent 16 years in prison, during wich she became a poet, author and AIDS activist. Her sentence was commuted by president Bill Clinton on January 20, 2001, on his final day in office.
