Douglas Grant , Author
Douglas Grant's first novel, Preemptive (2010), examines lives intertwined by the cause and effect relationship the U.S. had with Afghanistan in the 1980s. His short story, “Escalation,” addresses America's economic downturn in the last ten years. His most recent book, Imaginary Lines, chronicles the lives of an American and Mexican immigrant family and their intersections in pursuit of the American Dream. His works comment on the human condition or on social inequity, narratives that often pay tribute to some of the most banal of literature and film genres.
